Shark Jaw
Description
- The shark jaw is a widely used ship safety equipment in various types of vessels. Its main function is to tightly grip the cables or steel ropes to prevent them from sliding. The shark jaw device consists of the shark jaw installed on the stern deck, the cable stopper, the tail drum, the hydraulic pump station, and the electrical control system.
- The shark jaw device designed by our company for three-purpose tugboats is responsible for three major tasks: towing, anchoring, and supply. To safely, quickly, and effectively carry out the anchoring operation for the drilling platform, all three-purpose tugboats newly designed are invariably equipped with the shark jaw device.
